Job summary

Smooth-On, Inc. is seeking a supervisor to oversee daily dry packaging operations, ensure safety and quality, and mentor the packing team. The role includes cross-training across departments and coordinating with the Shift Supervisor and Shipping to meet production priorities.

You will train new employees on packaging systems, batch sheets, labeling, SDS printing, and location placement using Forkit. Strong organizational and supervisory skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a packing/production team preferred.
• Ability to train and mentor staff and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dry packaging operations to ensure quality and safety.
• Train, mentor and develop Dry Packers and facilitate cross-training.
• Coordinate with Shift Supervisor and Shipping to align production priorities.
• Inspect packouts, ensure correct labeling, SDS, and product compatibility.
• Operate and troubleshoot packaging printers (Colordyne, Trojan).
• Rotate stock based on date codes and shelf life; maintain inventory data.
