ForestSource seeks a Dry Kiln Supervisor to lead the new Southern Yellow Pine sawmill dry kiln operations in the Southern US. The role focuses on optimizing production, ensuring safety and quality, and driving continuous improvement across the kiln department.

You will manage production planning, maintenance, and workforce development while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive leadership in dry kiln operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of dry kiln equipment and processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to dry kiln operations and drive improvements.
• Oversee production planning, maintenance, quality control and safety.
• Develop strategies to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Lead crew members and coordinate with internal/external partners.
• Foster collaboration, accountability and employee development.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, customers and regulators.
• Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices.
• Other duties as requested.
