Airgas in Amistad, NM is seeking a Plant Operator to safely load and package dry ice products while keeping the facility clean and organized.

You will operate production machinery and forklifts, log production numbers, verify weights and packaging integrity, and ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, commissions, proportions, and percent.

Responsibilities

• Load, weigh, and package dry ice products according to customer orders.
• Inspect finished products for weight, density and packaging integrity to meet quality standards.
• Operate production machinery and material handling equipment (forklifts or pallet jacks) safely.
• Accurate logging of production numbers, shipping manifests, and inventory usage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility to ensure a safe working environment.
