Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Controller to maintain accurate records of boxes, bags, ingredients and coolers, and to coordinate shipments and storage across the plant.

You will load and unload delivery trucks, verify incoming goods against BOL, and help implement BEST practices with the team while ensuring a clean, organized box room and accurate period-end inventories.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write basic English.
• Basic math skills with handheld calculators.
• Preference for poultry or food processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Record inventory of boxes, bags, ingredients, and coolers.
• Distribute inventories to departments.
• Ensure received inventory matches BOL and inspect incoming product for damage.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Keep box room clean, neat, and organized with proper storage.
• Participate in team meetings and support BEST practices with the team.
