Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Dry Etch Semiconductor Maintenance Technician in Chandler, AZ, for a direct-hire role with a semiconductor manufacturing company. The position requires 3–5 years of equipment maintenance, strong mechanical and electronic skills, and the ability to interpret schematics.

First shift, 5 AM–5 PM, with physical demands including standing up to 12 hours and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the Fabrication Metals/Etch equipment area.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems; perform scheduled maintenance and consumable changes.
• Show understanding of SPC, 5S, FDC systems and demonstrate problem solving.
• Interface with internal/external groups to ensure safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied.
• Complete documentation and train others.
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal form; stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the Fabrication Metals/Etch equipment area.
• Troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems, scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and various other activities relevant to the success of the area.
• Solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems, and demonstrating problem solving skills.
• The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied.
• The desired candidate will be required to complete documentation and train others.
• Required to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills, stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours), and be physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.
