Job Description

The Dry Dock Logistics Manager is responsible for planning and managing logistics functions to support the execution of dry docks and special projects for the CCL fleet. This role involves overseeing on-site logistics providers, establishing project metrics, ensuring timely execution of logistics, and developing master schedules for shipping cutoffs and exception management.

Essential Functions

1. Contract and manage on-site dry dock logistics providers. Responsible for performance and day-to-day activities for all 3PL contractors.
2. Establish key metrics and success criteria for projects.
3. Ensure timetables and deadlines are met to support project logistics; escalate issues to upper management as needed.
4. Plan and execute all material logistics aspects of Dry Docks and special projects.
5. Manage timelines and communication with internal and external partners.
6. Create a master schedule for shipping cut-offs and exception management.
7. Manage relationships with all stakeholders effectively.
8. Develop procedures for reverse logistics and product returns; conduct lessons learned sessions post-project with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, or Finance; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5-8 years of experience in material logistics, working with third-party contractors and FTEs.
• Strong computer skills, especially in Excel.
• Port operations experience and knowledge preferred.

Physical Demands: Ability to remain stationary at a desk/computer for extended periods; regular movement around CCL facilities; standing for long periods.

Travel: 25-50%, likely including shipboard travel.

Work Conditions: Primarily in a climate-controlled environment; may involve outdoor work and machinery operation; possible shift changes.

This is a remote position, allowing full-time work from home with regular travel to Miami, FL headquarters. Candidates should be located in FL, GA, TX, or NC if outside the specified hubs.
