• Able to push and pull carts up to 250 pounds frequently.
• Able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch regularly.
• Understand and follow directions in the spoken language of the work area.
• Able to travel within the hotel for linen pickup/delivery.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Process dry cleaning materials.
• Sort dirty linen from laundry chute.
• Pickup dirty linen from Food & Beverage outlets.
• Operate washers, dryers, ironers, and towel folders.
• Stack clean items into delivery bins for guest rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the department.
• Adhere to safety and sanitization regulations.

Overview

Dry Cleaning Laundry Attendant ensures that all dry cleaning materials are processed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Process dry cleaning materials.
• Sort dirty linen from laundry chute to be processed.
• Pickup dirty linen from Food & Beverage outlets and banquets.
• Operate all washers, dryers, ironers and towel folders.
• Stack clean items into laundry bins or trucks to be delivered to guest room floors or Food & Beverage areas.
• Operate smaller washers/dryers to process specialty items or special requests for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department at all times.
• Adhere to safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA and Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to stand in a workstation for up to 7 hours per shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to push and pull carts up to 250 pounds often throughout the shift.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch on a regular basis.
• Must understand and follow directions in the spoken language of the work area.
• Must be able to travel to various areas of the hotel to pick/deliver linen items within allotted time.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends and holiday.
