Job summary

Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in the Texas Hill Country near Austin seeks a full-time Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role supports guest experiences by ensuring clean linens and timely delivery to guest floors and F&B areas.

You will operate washers, dryers, irons, and folders, handle heavy loads, follow OSHA safety rules, and collaborate with a friendly, service-driven associates to maintain a spotless, organized laundry department.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to push/pull carts up to 250 pounds and bend/stretch as needed.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort dirty linen from chute and prepare for processing.
• Pickup dirty linens from outlets and banquets.
• Operate washers, dryers, ironers and towel folders.
• Stack clean items into bins/trucks for delivery to guest floors.
• Process specialty items with smaller washers/dryers as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department.
• Follow OSHA safety and sanitization requirements.
• Assist in operating the tunnel.

Responsibilities

• Sorting of dirty linen from laundry chute to be processed.
• Pickup of dirty linen from Food & Beverage Outlets/Banquets.
• Operating all washers, dryers, ironers and towel folders.
• Stacking clean items into laundry bins/trucks to be delivered to the guest room floors or Food & Beverage areas.
• Operating smaller washers/dryers to process specialty items or special requests for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department at all times.
• Adhere by safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA and the Omni Hotels & Resorts.
• Assist in operating the tunnel.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to stand in workstation for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to push and pull carts up to 250 pounds often throughout the shift.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch on a regular basis.
• Must be able to understand and follow directions in the spoken language of the work area.
• Must be able to travel to various areas of the hotel to pick/deliver linen items in allotted time provided.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, weekends and holidays.
• Previous tunnel or CBW experience preferred.
