Job summary

Owl Cleaners in Warrendale, PA just south of Cranberry, is seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Dry Cleaner to join our team. This hands‑on role focuses on craftsmanship and care for garments, delivering quality, spotless results for our customers every day.

This is an early morning position beginning at 3 am to initiate production; there are typically no Saturday or Sunday hours. Experience in dry cleaning or garment care is preferred, and you will work with industrial equipment to ensure

Qualifications

• Prior experience in dry cleaning, laundry, or garment care preferred.
• Knowledge of fabric types and stain removal techniques advantageous.
• Ability to operate industrial dry cleaning and wetcleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect garments for stains, damage, and care instructions.
• Sort garments according to care labels and knowledge base.
• Know what can be safely cleaned vs. items requiring removal of embellishments.
• Operate dry cleaning machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Pre-treat stains and select appropriate cleaning solutions by fabric type.
• Perform proactive maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

About the Role:

Owl Cleaners in Warrendale, PA *** just South of Cranberry*** is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Dry Cleaner to join our team! This is a hands-on role where your craftsmanship and care for garments will make a real difference for our customers every single day. If you take pride in quality work and love seeing a perfectly pressed, spotless result, we want to hear from you!

This is an early morning position (3 am) as you would initiate production.

There is not normally any Saturday or Sunday hours.

Experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect garments for stains, damage, and special care instructions prior to cleaning
• Sort according to garment care label and use knowledge base when there is uncertainty.
• Know what can be safely cleaned and what needs removed - embellishments and buttons.
• Operate dry cleaning machines, wetcleaning equipment, and spotting boards safely and efficiently
• Pre-treat stains and apply appropriate cleaning solutions based on fabric type and know when to stop due to the dye and fabric.
• Do Proactive maintenance on equipment according to schedule
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards

Requirements:

• Prior experience in dry cleaning, laundry, or garment care preferred
• Knowledge of fabric types, cleaning solvents, and stain removal techniques
• Ability to operate industrial dry cleaning and wetcleaning equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle a fast-paced production environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Good communication skills for interacting with coworkers.
