Job summary

USA DeBusk seeks a Class A CDL Pneumatic/Vacuum Operator to drive and operate power equipment safely in a heavy industrial setting. You will perform vacuum truck operations, assist in maintenance, and ensure compliance with DOT rules while supporting emergency calls and extended travel as needed.

The successful candidate will have a valid Class A CDL, Hazmat endorsement, and TWIC or ability to obtain one, plus a willingness to work in demanding environments and rotate shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience driving an 18-wheeler.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat Endorsement.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
• Medical Examiner’s Certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Willing to travel and respond to emergencies 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up equipment per training, guidelines and safety procedures.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Work safely around heavy machinery in loud industrial settings.
• Manually clean, install, repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and related equipment.
• Assist in general maintenance of equipment and grease applications.
• Wash and clean equipment – pressure wash, clean cabs, etc.
• General housekeeping – sweep floors, take out trash, keep work areas organized.
• Assist with load outs/unloads and return equipment and PPE to designated areas.

Sign-on Bonus of $2,500 will be disbursed as follows: $500 after 3 months, $1000 after 6 months, and the final $1000 after completing a year of service.

Summary/Objective:

The Class A CDL Operator will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials and vacuum truck operations. The Pneumatic/Vacuum Truck Operator will be responsible for driving and operating efficiently and safely all power equipment and vehicles in accordance with DOT laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up all necessary equipment in accordance with operation training, guidelines and safety procedures.
• Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
• Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings.
• Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment.
• Assist in general maintenance of company equipment, service, grease, etc.
• Wash and clean company equipment – Pressure wash, clean cabs, etc.
• General housekeeping – sweeping floors, taking out trash, and helping keep work areas clean and organized.
• Help with future job load outs or unloads from previous jobs – Return equipment and PPE back to designated areas.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 Years’ experience required behind an 18-wheeler.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Must possess Hazmat Endorsement
• Must have no AUTO Restrictions
• Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake Endorsementsare a PLUS
• Must possess a valid Transportation Workers Identification card (TWIC) or be able to obtain one.
• Must possess BASIC PLUS safety orientation
• Must possess a Medical Examiner’s Certificate or be able to obtain one.
• Must be capable of passing a personal background screen.
• Must be capable of passing an MVR background screen.
• Commercial Driver - Pneumatic/Vacuum Operator runs under the FMCSA 70-hour rule.
• Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.
• Willing to respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week as needed.
• Willing to perform all required job duties in accordance with training.
• Willing to perform all job duties in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Willing to understand and follow all given directions.
• Willing to travel out of state.
