Job summary

ICF Next is seeking a senior Drupal architect to design, build, and optimize high‑performing, accessible web applications. You will lead complex projects and mentor engineers across experience levels.

Collaborate with clients and cross‑functional teams to set priorities, define deployment strategies, and deliver reliable releases. You’ll champion quality, security, and scalable UX while operating within the U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building secure, accessible, responsive web applications.
• 5+ years building Drupal solutions, including module development, theming, migrations, writing automated tests.
• 3 years of leadership experience.
• All work must be conducted within the U.S.
• Must be capable of receiving a Public Trust level clearance per the contract.
• 7+ years of the fundamental technologies of the web: HTTP, SSL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain Drupal websites meeting accessibility, security, and design standards.
• Design, implement, and execute automated testing strategies for reliable software.
• Support deployment strategies and smooth releases to production.
• Mentor engineers and promote development best practices.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to set priorities and deliver outcomes.
• Contribute to Agile planning, sprints, and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and UX issues.
• Champion quality and continuous learning across projects.
