Job summary

Guitar Center Inc. in Millbury, MA is seeking a Music Teacher to deliver lessons per the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum and help students grow their musical skills.

You will partner with the store team to schedule lessons, retain students, communicate progress to families, and create a welcoming, inclusive learning environment. The role emphasizes student engagement and community music education.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching.

Responsibilities

• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based off the needs of the community.
• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Assist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long term students by creating a great experience.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Partner with all students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships.
• Communicate with students and/or parents of students on progress of each student.
• Share students and/or parents’ goals and progress frequently.
