Responsibilities

• Know products in department and respond to questions; make suggestions.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover items.
• Inform customers of Drug GM specials.
• Recommend Drug GM items to meet customers' needs.
• Review sell-by dates and take appropriate action.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude.
• Stay current with ads (present, future, seasonal, and special).
• Reinforce safety programs by following procedures and reporting hazards.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Notify management of accidents or safety risks.
• Report any illegal activity, including robbery or fraud.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced, stressful environments.
• Manage conflict professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
