Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Groton, CT is seeking a Technical Operations Support Technician to provide hands-on support for R&D laboratory operations, with emphasis on equipment setup, material production support, equipment cleaning, and room readiness.

This role maintains equipment availability, coordinates preventive maintenance, supports installations and project work, and helps sustain a safe, inspection-ready laboratory environment with adherence to GMP-adjacent practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical, laboratory, manufacturing, maintenance, or equipment operations experience.
• Ability to follow procedures, maintain records, and work safely in an R&D lab environment.
• Strong organization and coordination skills supporting multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Set up lab equipment for planned activities and support material production with lab-scale equipment.
• Clean, turnover, and stage equipment and rooms to maintain readiness.
• Provide first-line operational support for equipment uptime and troubleshooting coordination.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and service scheduling.
• Support capital projects, installations, relocations, and SAT/IQ/OQ readiness.
• Maintain inspections, audit readiness, and equipment documentation support.
• Support EHS expectations, hazard assessments, and inventory management.
