Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Drug Diversion Technician to support the Diversion Specialist and help manage the drug diversion program at assigned sites.

You will participate in audits, policy development, training, and collaboration with pharmacy, nursing leadership, and regulators to ensure compliance with the Controlled Substances Act and related laws. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to stay current with evolving regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year hospital or retail pharmacy experience.
• CPhT certification preferred.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the diversion specialist in managing the drug diversion program.
• Create and maintain policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Monitor and audit medication storage, records, and dispensing.
• Collaborate with pharmacy, nursing leadership and regulators for compliance.
