As a trusted subject matter expert and Designated Employer Representative (DER), you will help ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing regulations, partner with leaders across the organization, oversee vendor and contractor compliance, and leverage data-driven insights to strengthen programs and support informed decision-making. This is an on-site position at our headquarters office in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, and requires regular on-call and after-hours availability.
Must have two years’ experience providing professional support to Human Resources, Legal, or Safety client groups. Must have experience in project management. Experience supporting DOT drug and alcohol testing program administration preferred. Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) preferred. Experience with drug and alcohol record keeping software preferred. Experience in a Union environment preferred. Must have a Bachelors in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field. Must have a valid Utah driver's license with no more than four moving violations in the past three years. Cannot have more than one violation of driving under the influence of alcohol, any drug, or the combined influence of any alcohol or any drug within the last ten years. - OR - An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Moderate to advanced knowledge of DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations (preferred). Advanced level proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Intermediate level proficiency in MS Outlook, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat. Beginner level proficiency in Microsoft Access (preferred). Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal skills using tact, discretion, courtesy and patience. Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills. Experience in training development and delivery. Possess advanced written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate the ability to communicate sensitive information verbally and in writing using tact, diplomacy, patience, and confidentiality within all levels of the organization. Must pay close attention to detail and be able to analyze and interpret technical information. Must be able to work in a team environment and with individuals under stressful situations. Must be able to work independently.
Pay Rate: $73,300.00 or more, depending on experience.
