Job summary

THREE RIVERS YOUTH is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Supervisor in Pittsburgh, PA to provide clinical, administrative, and program supervision of treatment services. Qualifications

• Master's Degree required in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or related field with admin/clinical focus.
• 2 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency, including direct work with chemically dependent individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular individual and group supervision to assigned staff.
• Review clinical cases, treatment progress, barriers, risk concerns, and service needs.
• Coach staff on treatment planning, intervention selection, discharge planning, and care coordination.
• Review assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and releases of information.
• Monitor documentation for timeliness, accuracy, and relevance.
• Ensure services align with client needs and level of care.
• Train, coach, and mentor staff; onboard new counselors and interns.
• Support staff in crisis response, safety planning, and mandated reporting.
• Collaborate with external providers and payers to ensure care continuity.
