Job summary

Orange County Rescue Mission in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a full-time program coordinator to assist students toward self-sufficiency through accountability, mentoring, instruction, and coordination of services.

Responsibilities include registering school-aged children, serving as emergency school contact, maintaining safety protocols, documenting progress, coordinating with partners, and implementing individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in social work, counseling, or ministry.
• Knowledge of the Bible; experience with crisis populations.
• CADAC or RAS certification desired

Responsibilities

• With oversight of the DRR Manager, ensure parents register school-aged children in designated schools.
• Serve as emergency school contact for DRR parents.
• Maintain up-to-date trainings and information on DRR safety protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date training on animal safety and protocols.
• Assist in developing and updating the women and children’s program at DRR.
• Create and execute Individualized Treatment Plans in collaboration with students.
• Meet weekly with each assigned student to assess progress of ITP.
• Ensure documentation such as case notes and goal tracking reports are clear and timely.
• Collaborate with management for program changes and directives.
