Cache Creek Casino Resort is seeking a team member for the Drop Team to manage currency handling in slot machines and prepare for drops. The role includes performing monthly drops, assisting in the Count Room, and ensuring compliance with regulatory policies.

Applicants must have at least 21 years of age, with six months of related experience or training, and basic math and reading/writing skills. The job involves standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a noisy casino environment.

Responsibilities

• Open machines and retrieve currency cans from slot machines and replace with scheduled drops.
• Perform full drop on the first of every month.
• Learn and assist in Drop Team duties and Count Room as needed.
• Unload and prep currency for processing; prep cash cassettes for ATM machines.
• Follow all regulatory and department policies.

Summary

Drop and replace Slot Machine BV cans from scheduled drop zones daily. Assist when needed in the Count Room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Open machines and retrieve all currency (BVA) cans from slot machines and replace with empty cans that are scheduled for drops. - Perform a full drop on the first of every month.

Learn all aspects of Drop Team duties.

Assist in Count Room as needed.

Unload and empty BV slot cans and prep currency for processing.

Unload and empty Table Game boxes; prep currency and chips for processing.

Prep and fill cash cassettes for ATM and NRT machines for the next drop day.

Follow all regulatory and department policies outline in the SIC and department SOPs.

Education and/or Experience

Six months related experience and/or training.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
