Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated in Terre Haute is seeking a dependable Drop/Count Team Member to manage the drop of slot machines, table games, and self-service sports wagering kiosks, and to count and reconcile cash and vouchers on the gaming floor.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a preference for one year of money handling experience. You will support replenishments, counting, and maintaining Count Room supplies in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year money handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with drops of slot machines and table games and count funds.
  • Replenish and verify all gaming voucher redemption machines on the floor.
  • Count and reconcile funds from slot machines, table games, and self-service kiosks.
  • Maintain Count Room supplies and organization; ensure area security.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support daily casino operations.

JOB SUMMARY

Candidate will be responsible for drop of slot machines, table games, all gaming voucher redemption units and self-service sports wagering kiosks and count of drop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate will assist other Drop/Count Team members with the replenishments, service and verification of all gaming voucher redemption machines on the gaming floor.

Candidate will assist other Drop/Count Team members with the drops of the slot machines and count of the funds from the slot machines.

Candidate will assist other Drop/Count Team members with the drop of the table games and count of the funds from the table games.

Candidate will assist other Drop/Count Team members with the drop of the self-service sports wagering kiosks and count of the funds from these machines.

Candidate will be responsible for replenishing supplies in the Count Room and in the Count Room office as needed.

When walking through aisle ways, Candidate should make sure all vacant, non-fixed slot seating is appropriately tucked in as close to the slot machine as possible and aisle way is maintained.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level is moderate. Candidate will be exposed to smoke when on the casino floor. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, stressful, and physically demanding environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The employee will be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, or crawl for extended periods of time. Employee is required to lift and carry up to 40lbs independently and more than 40lbs with assistance. Employee must be able to talk and hear in order to ensure proper communication. This job requires strong vision skills, including close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
