Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College seeks a Part-Time Faculty member to teach the Drone program at the Public Safety Training Center. You will design and deliver drone instruction, prepare lesson plans, and ensure students develop analytical and professional skills.

The role supports ongoing safety training at the Center with a focus on practical competencies. The position requires a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice or related field, plus UAS operations experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree; significant related experience may substitute.
Four years UAS operations experience and FAA knowledge.
Advanced communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Word Processing and PowerPoint.
Ability to assess and grade student progress.
Sensitivity to diverse populations.

Responsibilities

Provide instruction and prepare lesson plans for established curriculum.
Delivers training related to the Drone Training program.
Promote students’ development in critical thinking, evaluation, and communication.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
