Responsibilities include delivering lectures, developing lesson plans, and maintaining safety and records while collaborating with partners to keep curriculum current and industry-relevant.

Qualifications

• Must have teaching or instructional experience in a formal setting.
• Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or higher as required.
• Ability to develop lesson plans and assessments aligned with FAA standards.
• Willingness to obtain FAA AGI within 6 months of hire if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Teach UAS/drone courses including lectures, labs, and outdoor flight sessions.
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with program outcomes and FAA Part 107.
• Grade coursework and maintain academic records with accuracy.
• Plan and supervise hands-on drone flight training under safety protocols.
• Advise students on progress, path to certification, and career opportunities.
• Coordinate with leadership to keep curriculum current with industry standards.
