Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for Technical Professional License and/or Virginia Collegiate Professional License with Career and Technical Education endorsement in Remote Pilot.
• Must have FAA Remote Pilot Certificate.
• Must have at least two years of Unmanned Aircraft Systems experience.
• Ability to review, revise and develop curriculum to meet industry standards.
• Strong organizational and instructional management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops a program to provide students with hands-on experience to perform basic functions in flying drones.
• Manages student behavior, assesses and evaluates student achievement regularly.
• Prepares lesson plans, organizes materials and develops tests.
• Maintains accurate records as required by law and policies.
• Provides professional development and participates in mandatory certification programs.
