Job summary

LeVanta Tech is seeking an Engineering Technician to help build and test prototypes, performing hands-on fabrication and data analysis. This role requires independent work, creativity, and proactive problem-solving within a fast-paced startup setting at our Stennis, MS facility.

The candidate should have a BS/AS degree or trade certificate, proficiency with CAD software such as Solidworks, and experience with design, testing, and assembly of drone components. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• BS/AS degree or trade certificate or significant hands-on technical and engineering experience.
• Preference for mechanical, ocean, aeronautical, computer science/engineering, or electrical engineering education.
• Candidates with significant training and skill sets in trade disciplines will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Engineering research, product/component design, test and data analysis.
• Hands-on fabrication of prototype drone components, drones, and testing apparatus.
• Work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment at LeVanta's facility in Stennis, MS.
• Assist in building and testing prototypes and identifying potential problems with solutions.
