Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a technically focused Drone Pilot to safely transform aerial data into practical project information. You will plan, execute, and document UAS operations across construction and industrial sites, ensuring quality data delivery and compliance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design and VDC teams to integrate flight outputs into BIM and digital twin workflows. Ideal candidates will have FAA Part 107 certification, 3+ years of drone experience, and strong data handling

Qualifications

• Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
• 3+ years of commercial drone experience.
• Experience developing flight plans for active construction sites.
• Knowledge of photogrammetry, orthomosaics, 3D meshes, and point clouds.
• Ability to travel to project sites and work flexible hours.
• Strong safety and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct commercial drone flights per regulations and site safety procedures.
• Maintain pilot credentials, registrations, flight logs.
• Capture aerial imagery and data for BIM and digital twin workflows.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders on flight windows and site access.
• Publish deliverables to ACC, GIS platforms, and other environments.
