Job summary

EA Engineering, Science and Technology, Inc., PBC is seeking a Drone & GPS Program Manager / Lead Pilot to lead our drone operations in Maryland. This role involves managing equipment and pilot tracking, and serving as the lead drone pilot across the organization.

You will mentor pilots, explore new drone technologies, and implement tools that improve efficiency and expand drone service value. A strong background in GIS and GNSS is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geography, geology, engineering, spatial data science, or similar.
• FAA Part 107 UAS license is required.
• Experience using Esri ArcGIS Pro GIS software.
• Experience with GNSS GPS equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage drone and GPS equipment inventory, maintenance, firmware, shipping, and upgrades.
• Maintain and update SOPs, quick-start guides, flight logs, and maintenance records.
• Research, test, and evaluate new drone and GPS technologies.
• Train and support EA pilots, including quarterly meetings and troubleshooting.
• Manage onboarding and training for new pilots.
• Communicate new equipment, capabilities, and updates through internal postings and webinars.
