Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a UAS Ground Support Operator to join our field testing team in Bay Point, CA. You will help prepare drones and ground systems for flight validation, coordinate on-site logistics, and support rapid testing cycles.

This onsite role requires a Part 107 license; UAV experience is not strictly required. Expect early mornings and some travel as you collaborate with flight test operators and cross-functional teams to improve operational performance.

Qualifications

• Part 107 license required.
• Onsite role based in Bay Point, CA; local or commuting distance preferred.
• UAS/ drone testing environment experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily test readiness by managing batteries, equipment, and on-site logistics.
• Operate in field environments with extended standing, drone handling, and varying weather conditions.
• Be flexible for early mornings, late afternoons, and travel up to ~20%.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to surface observations and support testing improvements.
