Job summary

Service Robot Co. is hiring a field-based technician to install, repair and maintain drones and docking/charging stations at customer sites. This role requires hands-on electronics experience and the ability to work outdoors, often traveling between client locations.

Training through the Service Robot Co. Academy is provided and first assignments are paid, with ongoing remote specialist support. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and keep accurate records, while coordinating with

Qualifications

• Experience with electronics repair, RC or FPV drone building, avionics, low-voltage systems, or similar hands‑on work.
• Patience with small parts and precise repairs.
• A methodical approach to finding faults.
• Accurate records and clear communication.
• Comfort working independently at customer sites.
• Availability to drive, work outdoors, and travel overnight occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace propellers, motors, electronic speed controllers, batteries, gimbals, and cameras.
• Update firmware and calibrate equipment.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections.
• Follow lithium battery procedures for storage, charging, transport, and disposal.
• Record faults, repairs, replacement parts, and follow-up work.
• Keep spare parts available and report recurring problems.
• Explain repairs and next steps to customers.

Training

You will complete an online course through our Service Robot Co. Academy, followed by in‑person training and the industry certifications needed for this role. Training and certifications are free for selected candidates. Your first job is paid, with a specialist supporting you remotely.
