DoorDash is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to own critical subsystems for the DoorDash Air program. You will design mechatronics from a blank sheet and bring up boards with microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators for both aircraft and ground systems.

You will report to the Lead Electrical Engineer in the DoorDash Labs organization and work closely with firmware, systems, mechanical, supply chain, manufacturing, and reliability teams to deliver robust, high-reliability electronics.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing electronics circuits in cross-functional teams.
• Design and bring-up of a board with a micro-controller and sensors/actuators.
• Ability to design mixed-signal circuitry for interfaces such as analog, SPI, CAN or Ethernet.
• Proven ability to debug complex systems and identify issues across signal integrity, EMI, firmware, or mechanical design.

Responsabilidades

• Own critical subsystems of the aircrafts and ground systems.
• Develop designs that operate in field and in air within DoorDash Air.
• Collaborate closely with firmware, systems, mechanical, supply chain, manufacturing, and reliability teams.
• Prototype and validate the entire electrical design of a small robotic system.
