Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking an experienced Drone Operations Manager to own the end-to-end operation at our drone delivery hubs and lead the on-site commercial operations center. You will manage all aspects of commercial ops, including outbound/inbound fulfillment, drone maintenance and spare parts, and flight operations.

The role requires strong leadership of onsite managers and employees, collaboration with customer teams and product/engineering, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Experience leading staffing lifecycle from interviewing to terminations.
• Strong people management and coaching abilities.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying shifts.
• Ability to travel to local sites up to 25%.
• Lean methodologies applied to operations.
• Degree in operations or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operation at drone delivery hubs and lead the on-site commercial operations center.
• Manage all aspects of commercial ops including outbound/inbound fulfillment, drone maintenance and spare parts, and flight operations.
• Act as the senior on-site leader with direct responsibility over managers and staff.
• Partner with Prime Air customer-facing teams and with technical/support functions to drive a highly efficient operation.
• Impact the S-team goal of delivering packages to customers via drone.
