Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Drone Operations Manager to own end-to-end operations at our drone delivery hubs and to lead the on-site commercial operations center. The role includes managing the fulfillment center activities, drone maintenance, and flight operations.

You will collaborate with customer-facing teams (support, marketing, PR) and cross-functional groups (Training, Product, Engineering, IT, Facilities, Finance, HR, Supply Chain) to deliver ultra-fast delivery experiences while

Qualifications

• Experience with staffing lifecycle: interviewing, hiring, performance management, terminations.
• Experience in a people management or leadership role with coaching and development.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Bachelor's degree in operations.
• Travel to local sites up to 25%.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outside in varying conditions.
• Direct management experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, or logistics.
• Experience analyzing metrics and applying Lean improvements.
• Ability to train as a drone operator and adhere to standards.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operation at drone delivery hubs.

• Manage maintenance, spare parts, and flight operations.
