Job summary

Allied Universal® in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driving Role to provide reliable, flexible hours at an assigned site. This position offers a pathway to build experience and advance toward a full-time security career with the industry leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen per policy.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors and others while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities at an educational campus location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances and medical situations in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of campus buildings and areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials and provide directions or assistance per site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations and daily activities and communicate information to supervisors.
