Job summary

Pinehurst, LLC is seeking a range attendant to maintain the driving range and assist guests throughout daily play. You will support the Golf Academy, restock balls, and help with setup of practice areas in a busy golf environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up driving-range for daily play (Golf Academy, Upper Tee and Member’s Tee); pick/wash balls and maintain range appearance.
• Set up short-game area and maintain it throughout the day.
• Assist Golf Academy with morning setup, restocking range balls and cleaning between classes.
• Assist Learning Center when necessary.
• Maintain driving range equipment including club cleaners, baskets, racks, towels and ropes.
• Open and close driving-range procedures daily.
• Maintain driving-range cart and picker.
• Report equipment problems to supervisor.
• Assist guests by cleaning clubs and transporting bags on/off the range.
• Be aware of surroundings in a golf environment and follow proper etiquette.

SUMMARY:

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the driving range while accommodating guests needs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and a minimum of three months related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set-up driving- range for daily play (Golf Academy, Upper Tee and Member’s Tee), pick/wash balls and continue maintaining driving- range appearance throughout the day.


• Set-up short-game area and maintain throughout the day.


• Assist Golf Academy with morning set-up, periodic re-stocking range balls, resetting balls between classes and clean-up.


• Assist Learning Center when necessary.


• Maintain driving range equipment to include: club cleaners, baskets, bag racks, towels, and ropes.


• Responsible for the opening and closing driving- range procedures.


• Maintain driving -range cart and picker.


• Report all equipment problems to supervisor.


• Assist guest by cleaning clubs and bag transporting on and off the range.


• Must be aware of surroundings with an understanding of a golf environment. Must have the ability to see and react to the surroundings including errant golf balls and must understand and follow proper golf etiquette while completing tasks.
