Job summary

Coastline Academy is the country’s largest driving school and is seeking in-car instructors to empower new drivers. You’ll teach in company cars used for teen and adult learners, with state licensing guidance and paid coursework.

Lessons run mostly in afternoons and weekends, and you will be supported by a certified trainer. Training covers 40 hours total: 20 virtual modules, 20 hours hands-on driving, and licensing/compliance steps.

Responsibilities

• Teach practical driving skills in a Coastline vehicle (road/parking lots, freeway merges).
• Coach students on road rules and safe driving habits.
• Build student confidence and ensure safe operations in every lesson.
• Take control of the vehicle when safety requires.
• Document and report student progress.
• Stay in close, timely communication with your supervisor and support team.
• Bring professionalism to every interaction with students and teammates.
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing development.
