Job summary

Coastline Academy is seeking driving instructors to educate and advise students while teaching the fundamentals of operating a car behind the wheel, using a Coastline car with a dashboard camera for safety.

You will be guided through a paid training program to obtain your state license, and deliver in‑car lessons. Most lessons occur in the afternoons and weekends to fit student schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have patience and calm demeanor to teach learners.
• Ability to give clear instructions and coach driving skills.

• Able to maintain focus during extended driving sessions.

Responsibilities

• Teach practical driving skills and fundamentals behind the wheel.
• Instruct on the rules of the road and safe driving practices.
• Help students develop confidence and situational awareness.
• Maintain vehicle control during emergencies and incidents.
• Document and report students’ progress to supervisor.
• Communicate promptly with supervisor and support team.
• Maintain professionalism with students and team members.
• Attend team meetings for updates and development.
