Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking a Development and Test Engineer to support the Mossville, IL drivetrain testing lab. You will review test setups, start and monitor tests, collect data, perform data reduction, and generate test summaries and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

This role collaborates with design and analytics engineers worldwide to develop test plans, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to advance power density and electrification initiatives.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Internships accepted as work experience.

Responsibilities

• Support test, inspection and analysis; produce test conclusions and recommendations.
• Support pre- and post-test evaluation of hardware.
• Assist with project/test planning and budgeting with clients.
• Develop and improve test procedures and safe job procedures.
• Verify instrumentation and data collection during testing.
