Job summary

The Judge Group, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer in Waterloo, IA for a 12-month contract.

You will lead quality issue resolution in drivetrain component manufacturing and drive continuous improvement initiatives using PFMEA, Six Sigma, and Smart Connected Factory projects. You will plan and execute quality programs, analyze data, create/control plans, and support customer satisfaction through corrective actions and warranty improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on quality engineering tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, RCA).
• Readable engineering drawings with GD&T knowledge.
• Data analysis of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality issue resolution in drivetrain component manufacturing.
• Drive continuous improvement via QIT, PFMEA, DPQ, Six Sigma, and Smart Connected Factory.
• Plan, coordinate and execute quality programs with cross-functional teams.
• Apply structured problem solving and statistical analysis to manufacturing/quality concerns.
• Develop, implement, and optimize control plans for process stability and product compliance.
• Support customer satisfaction via corrective actions and warranty improvements.
