Job summary

PACCAR in Kirkland, WA is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer - Drivetrain Electronics to join our advanced vehicle programs. You will help design and integrate electrical systems for engine, transmission, ABS/ESP, and other electronic features across Kenworth and PACCAR trucks, working with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 1–3+ years of relevant experience, and hands-on experience with automotive wiring, ECUs, and engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 1–3+ years of experience in electrical design or related field.
• Experience with automotive wiring harnesses, ECUs, and related automotive electronics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate program definition activities with PACCAR teams to deliver cost-efficient solutions.
• Integrate Engine, After Treatment, Transmissions and ABS/ESP/ACC electrical/electronic features into Kenworth/PACCAR vehicles.
• Manage engineering and project processes to maintain schedule, budget, and functionality.
• Plan and track validation testing of components.
• Support product launch at vehicle assembly plants.
• Ensure quality and reliability of all components.
