Job summary

PACCAR is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer - Drivetrain Electronics to support design development of electrical systems for heavy trucks. You will interface with Product Planning, Marketing & Sales, and Management to define targets and provide engineering support across sustaining and new development programs.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in electrical design, experience with wiring harnesses and ECUs, and proficiency with Creo or similar tools. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 1-3+ years of experience in electrical design for vehicles.
• Experience with automotive wiring harnesses and ECUs.
• Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate program definition with PACCAR teams to deliver cost-efficient solutions.
• Integrate electrical features into Kenworth/PACCAR vehicles.
• Manage engineering processes to maintain schedule and budget.
• Plan and track validation testing of components.
• Support product launches at vehicle assembly plants.
• Ensure quality and reliability of components throughout the project.
