Job summary

Peerless Fence is seeking a Driver/Yard Laborer in Illinois to support yard and shop operations. You will stage, load, and deliver materials for upcoming installations, and unload items from delivery trucks with care and accuracy.

The role emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license (Class C) is required; forklift certification is preferred. Training is provided for equipment and procedures.

Qualifications

• A self-starter with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Maintain an organized work environment.
• Maintain a current and valid driver’s license, including class C license.
• Capable of lifting up to 80 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to communicate clearly, respectfully.

Position Overview

The Driver/Yard Laborer position is responsible for supporting efficient, accurate, and organized operations in our yard facility. This position is responsible for staging material pick ups and making local deliveries. The Driver/Yard Laborer is primarily focused on the following objectives:

• Support efficient daily operations in shop and yard facilities
• Stage and deliver material with accuracy
