Job summary

Premium Loaves in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Delivery Driver to bring sandwiches to customers quickly and safely within the established delivery area.

Responsibilities include taking phone orders, completing delivery tickets, handling payments with accuracy, reconciling cash with the team, and upholding a professional appearance and urgent service mindset. Must have a valid driver’s license and be 18+ with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver sandwiches to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner within the established delivery area.

• Accept payments from customers and provide correct change with accuracy.
• Reconcile cash with management and document miles driven for the shift.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code and project a positive attitude.
• Perform related duties as requested and show urgency in tasks.

Job Location: Waukesha, WI 53186
Salary Range: $11.50 - $13.50 Hourly

Jimmy John's Delivery Driver's goal is to get that sandwich in the customer's hand as quick as can be. We do this by learning the most efficient route, double checking orders to ensure everything is accounted for, and hustling on our feet (while always being safe and law abiding while on the street).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Inshopper tasks while not on a delivery.
• Know your schedule, arrive on time or if you are going to be late, call your manager before your scheduled start time.
• Takes phone orders and completes delivery tickets in a courteous and timely manner.
• Delivers sandwich orders to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner in established delivery area only.
• Accepts payment from customers for orders and provides correct change without cash handling errors.
• Works with management at the end of the shift to reconcile cash from delivery sales, including accepting tips, DMR, and confirming miles driven for the shift based on the current systems in place.
• Fills out systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity.
• Maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with Jimmy John's Dress Code.
• Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
• Displays a sense of urgency in all tasks.

Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to communicate, read, and write the English language fluently and clearly.
• Position requires bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, repetitive motions, cognitive skills, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and moving about the unit the entire workday.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Sign-on bonus of $600! Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
