Job summary

State of Nevada Lovelock Correctional Center is seeking a Driver Warehouse Worker 1 to receive, store and deliver a wide range of supplies. You will supervise inmate workers, verify deliveries against invoices, and ensure loads are secured for transport.

A Class B Commercial Driver License is required upon application. The role also covers loading, unloading, inventory control, and coordinating with the Supply Tech 2 to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• One year of warehouse operations experience, including loading freight.
• Experience with forklifts and driving vehicles 26,000 lb GVW or more.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver License required upon application.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store freight for State agencies and commodity programs.
• Verify deliveries against invoices and packing lists; report damage.
• Inspect freight for damage and ensure quantity matches bills of lading.
• Prepare orders and load the delivery vehicle according to schedules.
• Supervise inmate workers and enforce security procedures in the warehouse.
