Job summary

Qualifications

• Read warehouse orders, inventory reports and equipment operation and service manuals.
• Perform simple math calculations.
• Document the condition of freight and prepare inventory reports.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, vendors, and staff from various agencies.
• Lift, push and pull heavy objects frequently.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and other agency personnel.
• Complete assignments within established deadlines.
• Perform repetitive work according to set procedures, sequence, and pace.

Responsibilities

• Accept deliveries of supplies and equipment; verify deliveries against invoices; report damaged items.
• Examine produce upon receipt for freshness; log UPS deliveries; deliver food, office supplies, equipment, etc.
• Ensure all trucks are loaded and secure; check load against shipping receipts; have receiver confirm shipment and sign shipping receipt.
• Supervise inmate workers and operate within a correctional setting; secure work area from unauthorized inmates.
