Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits is seeking a full-time Warehouse Worker/Backup CDL Yard Hostler in Nevada. The role involves loading/unloading shipments, operating a forklift and pallet jacks, stocking and organizing the warehouse, and ensuring safe and efficient yard operations.

Qualifying candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL, be able to lift up to 48 lbs repeatedly, and work extended hours or peak periods.

Qualifications

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
• Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift
• May require working at heights of 8 feet or greater

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, or order picker safely
• Place and/or pull stock from storage areas of the warehouse
• Unload trucks and ensure wheels are chocked before unloading begins
• Stock forward pick locations and restock returns as directed
• Sort pallets by size and maintain neat, orderly areas
• Handle damaged bottles and re-box or dispose of broken items as required
• Move and track containers entering or leaving the premises
• Perform acceptance of inbound loads and seal trucks after loading
• Perform other related duties as assigned
