Job Summary: The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of company vehicles, processing shipments accurately, and maintaining warehouse operations. Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments, using equipment like forklifts, inspecting shipments, reconciling lab results with shipment data, and managing inventory. The role requires understanding the impact on other business functions and may involve vendor relations, with other duties assigned as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Prepare receiving dock for incoming products
2. Prepare materials for shipment
3. Match shipments with purchase orders
4. Reconcile shipments with lab results
5. Operate forklifts or pallet jacks safely
6. Maintain a safe work environment
7. Lift cases and stock merchandise as per procedures
8. Process paperwork and maintain records
9. Prepare vehicle and warehouse inspection reports
10. Oversee loading/unloading of deliveries
11. Manage inventory of shipping materials
12. Report discrepancies and solve related issues
13. Maintain organized work area
14. Make deliveries using company vehicle as assigned
15. Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Class D driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Forklift certification preferred
• Experience in the chemical industry and with dangerous goods preferred
• Experience in shipping and receiving roles preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills and knowledge of shipping documents
• Ability to operate material handling equipment
• Team player and independent worker
• Computer skills including Excel and email
• Attention to detail, good organization, and time management
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Working Conditions:

• Manual dexterity for computer and peripherals
• Overtime as needed
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Work in various environments with potential exposure to noise, dust, fumes
• Scheduled on a 24-hour shift rotation
