Summary

The Driver serves as the representative of Baker Distributing, crucial to both our operations and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be tasked with the safe and efficient delivery of products to our customers, while upholding exceptional customer service and professionalism. The Driver Warehouse Associate role involves daily delivery and transportation of HVAC goods from our wholesale HVAC distributorships to customers, vendors, or other Sales Center locations. Additionally, this role includes maintaining and operating the warehouse between deliveries.

Essential Duties/Accountabilities

• Represent Baker Distributing Company as a leader in the industry
• Load and unload products daily for delivery to customers and Sales Centers
• Collect invoices with signatures and return to the Sales Center Manager
• Assist in warehouse inventory counts, order picking, and verification
• Maintain daily truck checklist, report in/out times, and merchandise returns
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of truck driving experience
• Box Truck delivery experience
• Clean driving record with no restrictions, suspensions, or DUI in past 3 years
• Current DOT Physical card and ability to pass DOT physical exam
• CDL license preferred
• Warehouse experience, including forklift operation, is a plus
• Effective communication skills with customers
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company
• Must be 21 or older
• Valid Driver’s License
