Job summary

Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc is seeking a Warehouse Associate & Driver to be at the forefront of logistics, ensuring customers receive products safely and on time. You will be part of a team that values people and growth within a family-owned environment.

The role involves material handling, order pulling, packing, shipping documentation, and driving duties with local routes and distribution center deliveries. A Class A CDL and safe driving record are required; DOT medical card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect materials from motor freight carriers, UPS/FedEx, and customer returns.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment using forklifts or order pickers.
• Package items securely and label correctly; complete shipping documentation.
• Drive tractor-trailer with 56 ft flatbed trailer or 26 ft flatbed truck; load and secure deliveries.
• Deliver orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers; maintain real-time communication with supervisors via phone and GPS; inspect delivery trucks.

As a Warehouse Associate & Driver, you will be at the forefront of logistics, ensuring that our valued customers receive their products safely and on time. What you'll do

Warehouse & Material Handling:

• Receive and inspect materials from Motor Freight Carriers, UPS/FedEx, and customer returns.
• Accurately pull and stage orders for shipment using forklifts or order pickers.
• Ensure items are packaged securely and labeled correctly.
• Complete shipping documentation and system entries while maintaining high quality standards.

Delivery & Driving:

• Drive tractor-trailer with 56 ft flatbed trailer or 26ft flatbed truck
• Load and secure deliveries on Eastern vehicles for safe transport.
• Deliver orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers.
• Maintain real-time communication with supervisors via phone & GPS.
• Inspect and ensure proper working condition of delivery trucks.
