Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver to support receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities at our Jacksonville, FL facility.

You will operate forklifts, stage orders, and assist with deliveries to customers and distribution centers, ensuring accuracy and on-time performance. Ideal candidates bring warehouse experience, delivery driving exposure, and a solid safety record.

Qualifications

• Strong communication abilities for internal teams and customers.
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
• Proven track record in warehouse duties and material handling.
• Experience delivering goods to customers or distribution centers.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safety protocols.
• DOT medical card preferred; assistance available to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect materials from Motor Freight Carriers, UPS/FedEx, and customer returns.
• Accurately pull and stage orders for shipment using forklifts or order pickers.
• Ensure items are packaged securely and labeled correctly.
• Complete shipping documentation and system entries while maintaining high quality standards.
• Load and secure deliveries on company vehicles for safe transport.
• Deliver orders to local customers and other distribution centers.
• Maintain real-time communication with supervisors via phone and GPS.
• Inspect and ensure proper working condition of delivery trucks.

What You'll Do

Warehouse & Material Handling:

Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• Forklift operation experience
• Previous warehouse experience
• Previous delivery driver experience preferred
• Safe driving record required
• DOT medical card preferred (we can assist with getting your card)
