Job summary

ACME Refrigeration, LLC seeks a Driver/Warehouse Associate to support daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials from our Baton Rouge location. You will manage inventory, assist customers, and ensure accurate order fulfillment while maintaining safety and vehicle readiness.

The role emphasizes dependable performance, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of verifiable driving experience with a 22’+ box or stake bed truck.
• Ability to multi-task under daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of LTL and full truckload logistics.
• Excellent communication with customers and a service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products daily.
• Deliver HVAC freight and materials to customers.
• Receive, inspect, and stock merchandise.
• Verify items received against orders for accuracy.
• Prepare and ship orders as needed.
• Maintain truck and forklift maintenance and logs.

Here is what you will be doing as part of the team:

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of verifiable, current experience driving a 22’ minimum box truck, or stake bed truck.
• Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
• A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
• Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Job Requirements

Looking for a Cool Job in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team representing the industry leaderin HVAC equipment? The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for the inventory of the Warehouseand daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials. The ultimate goal of this role is to procure, process,dispatch, and deliver/transport products to customers and vendors for one of our established wholesaleHVAC distributorships.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times withmerchandise returns.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to bemoved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customertraffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties asassigned.
