Job Description

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team of Warehouse Associates at our Lake City GA Distribution Center. The position calls for a team player with a positive attitude, sense of urgency and high energy level, along with dependability, honesty and integrity. Candidates must be detail oriented and possess the ability to be cross trained in picking, packing, shipping and receiving parts orders accurately and efficiently.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, reach, twist, sit, and walk

Job Duties include:

• Pick and pack orders quickly and accurately
• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse
• Participate in Daily Cycle Counts and Inventory
• Ensure that a quality check is performed on all orders
• Operate materials handling equipment with proper training
• Maintain cleanliness and store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
• Work independently and as a team with other stockroom, warehouse, or sales associates
• Able and willing to complete additional warehouse/shipping tasks listed on a daily agenda or as directed or assigned
